About the course

The aim of the course is to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to manage staff performance within a structured process, to ensure the objectives of the organisation are met, while developing the team and individuals to enhance their performance.

This course is specifically designed for team leaders and managers who are directly responsible for the formal appraisal and on-going performance management of colleagues.

The trainers business and training experience

The trainer for this course has over 20 years experience in managing effective appraisals, he has also been instrumental in setting up appraisal systems for numerous organisations. He has an extremely strong background in performance management and people management. His career in management started as a team leader of 5 staff and eventually finished as a chief executive for over 300 staff.

For the past 9 years he has spent his time teaching managers and leaders of all level the requisite skills to managing appraisals successfully and getting the best out of people. He is also qualified as a Master Trainer and is a FAS registered management trainer
