About the course

For some people moving into management can be like 'trying to do a jigsaw without seeing the picture'.

This course is designed to help the first time manager 'fit the pieces together and see the bigger picture'.

The aim of the course is to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to manage and supervise staff to ensure the objectives of the organisation are met, while developing the team and individuals to enhance their performance.

By providing a solid grounding in best management practices and developing effective management skills, the first time manager will make a smoother transition into their role.

The trainers business and training experience

The trainer for this course has over 20 years of management experience. His career in management started as a team leader of 5 staff and eventually finished as a chief executive managing over 400 staff.

For the past 9 years he has spent his time teaching managers of all level the requisite skills to managing successfully and getting the best out of people. He is also qualified as a Master Trainer and is a FAS registered management trainer
